Some favorites …

I was looking through my boxes and boxes of Barefoot titles tonight and realized I should share with you some of our favorites:

*  For those who love the coast: Ship Shapes. This adorable little book teaches shapes in a different way–by pointing out the shapes on a boat! It now comes in board book size for the smallest hands!

* For anyone with a romantic side: The Boy Who Grew Flowers. This is my favorite–a sweet story about a young boy who is very different than everyone else at his school–or at least he thinks. When he finds a little girl who is just as different as he is, a sweet friendship sprouts.

* Looking for a bit of culture for your kids? Pick up any of the Barefoot titles that focus on diversity and culture. A few favorites include My Granny Went to Market, Off We Go to Mexico, and Tales from Old Ireland.
